1. The Infamous Air Fryer Burnt Cheesecake
Source: Kitchen Stories
Don’t be shocked when you find out how easy it is to make your very own burnt cheesecake at home!
All you need is:
250g cream cheese
2 Tbsp Cake Flour
125ml Whipping Cream
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender until it’s well combined. Then, pass it through a sieve to remove any lumps. This step is optional, but necessary at the same time as passing your mixture through a sieve will ensure a smooth consistency and texture for your burnt cheesecake. Now, all you have to do is line your pan with baking paper, pour in the mixture, tap the pan on the kitchen counter to remove air bubbles, and pop it into the air fryer for 25 to 30 mins at 160°C.
And voila! Your homemade burnt cheesecake is ready to be devoured. I’ve personally tried making it multiple times and it’s so good that I’ve managed to start a small business to sell them during the start of the MCO days! This is definitely a great recipe to try with your loved ones. Now, you can check off making burnt cheesecake from scratch from your bucket list!
2. 3-Ingredient Cookies
Source: Real Life Of Pie
This recipe needs not 5, not 6, but only 3 ingredients!
Here are the ingredients that you need:
Your favourite brownie mix
½ cup of vegetable oil
1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
First, combine the brownie mix of your choice with vegetable oil. Then, add in the eggs and mix until combined. It’s best if you use a wooden or rubber spatula to ease the process of mixing. Next, use a spoon to make even cookie balls and line them on a parchment paper-lined tray. Lastly, put them in the oven for about 10 mins at 170°C, while also checking them at the 9-minute mark to make sure that they are not burnt at the bottom.
To make your 3-ingredient cookie taste even better, try sprinkling some sea salt on top. Weird combination, we know. But trust us on this one! This recipe needs just simple and easy ingredients that you might already have in your kitchen. Whip these bad boys up and soon, you will bring your favourite bakery to your own kitchen. It is so easy and delicious that this recipe might end up being your favourite!
3. Banana Cupcakes

Have a bunch of bananas browning away on top of your kitchen counter? Try salvaging them by baking banana cupcakes with these easy steps!
What you will need:
½ cup Greek Yogurt
⅓ cup Honey or Sugar
1 ½ cup of Wheat Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
First, mix the wet ingredients: bananas, eggs, greek yoghurt, honey, and vanilla essence together. Once well combined, stir in your dry ingredients: wheat flour and baking powder. Then, line the cupcake paper in your pan and scoop your mixture into each cupcake paper. To avoid spillage and evenly shaped batches of cupcakes, use an ice cream scooper! Bake at 175°C for about 20 mins and you’ll have a tray of perfectly baked banana cupcakes.
It’s perfect for a late-night movie snack! A great way to cut down on food wastage and turn extra bananas into delicious yummy treats. Have a fluffy sidekick (your pets, duh) with you? This recipe is great for them too! Just double-check on the ingredients and remove or substitute them if necessary. Otherwise, you can refer to this link for amaze-balls PUPCAKES!
4. Lemon Chiffon Cake
Source: Just One Cookbook
Craving for a soft, fluffy chiffon cake? This is the perfect recipe for you chiffon cake lovers.
Here are what you need:
102g Cake Flour
1g Baking Soda
Zest of 1 Lemon
85g Egg Yolk
2g Vanilla Extract
48g Vegetable Oil
135g Egg Whites
13g Lemon Juice
Combine Mixture A thoroughly. Then, in a separate bowl, add Mixture B but without the sugar. Using a hand mixer, mix the 3 ingredients until combined while slowly adding in the sugar. This will then create soft peaks that give us the fluffiness in the chiffon cake. After Mixture B is done, gradually add it into Mixture A by folding it in using a rubber spatula batch by batch. Pour it into a 7-inch pan and bake for 40 -50 minutes at around 160°C.
Let it cool down and you can decorate it with your favourite toppings. Go wild with your creativity and incorporate ingredients such as fruits to give it a further pop of colour and it will look Insta-worthy in no time. You'd be surprised at how the striking colours from the fruits can make the cake look more delectable!
