You know that feeling, when you have a ton of work to do in the office and you just don't have the time to head on down for a bite to eat? And a simple snack simply won't do? (Because you're starving!)

This is where lunchbox delivery services come in. When it comes to such services, there are lots of options to choose from--so many that we sometimes miss out on a couple of gems!

This time around, we thought it would be fun to turn the spotlight on Meraki Kitchen, a fuss-free gourmet lunchbox delivery service based in Kuala Lumpur, to put to the Crunch Test. In order to get some authentic reviews, we gathered 5 lucky Community members to do just that! Seriously weyh, free food. I'm jealous!

Unfiltered, uncensored, here is what they have to say:

Khairul : Meraki Shawarma Bowl

1. What was your favourite thing about Meraki Kitchen's services?

It provides fresh and healthy food with a variety of dishes everyday!

2. In terms of food quality and taste, how would you describe it?

I love the quality of the food, it's delicious. The taste is really good and the most important thing is that it's a healthy meal.

3. What could be further improved by Meraki Kitchen?

Don't forget to provide a fork and spoon during delivery. Sometimes the runner forgets about it.

4. How likely are you going to order Meraki Kitchen for yourself (the price ranges from RM 18 - 22)?

Once a month. If they could reduce the price, especially if we order more than 5 packs for example, it would be nice. Give a combo promotion price to encourage customers to order for a group.

5. Overall rating for the service and food (rate from 1 - 5)

5.

Sharmin : Portuguese Peri-Peri Bowl

1. What was your favourite thing about Meraki Kitchen's services?

They are easy to reach out to and I love the simple packaging!

2. In terms of food quality and taste, how would you describe it?

It tasted like home-cooked food, so good!! And I love how healthy and flavorful it is.

3. What could be further improved by Meraki Kitchen?

Providing vegetarian and vegan options, perhaps!

4. How likely are you going to order Meraki Kitchen for yourself (the price ranges from RM 18 - 22)?

2-3 times per week... since that’s the price range for almost all the restaurants at my office area.

5. Overall rating for the service and food (rate from 1 - 5)

5 for sure!

Amirah : Fresh Pesto Bowl

1. What was your favourite thing about Meraki Kitchen's services?

The burst of flavour, healthy way of cooking and ingredients.

2. In terms of food quality and taste, how would you describe it?

You can really taste the flavour which is really bold and delicious, while the quality of the food is superb. The ingredients taste fresh and healthy. Not oily, not too heavy.

3. What could be further improved by Meraki Kitchen?

To be consistent in delivery timing and why only 1 out of 5 days I got utensils? Can be consistent in that too. To stick to either with or without utensils.

4. How likely are you going to order Meraki Kitchen for yourself (the price ranges from RM 18 - 22)?

It is pretty pricey for food delivery because RM18-22 is something you would pay for a sit-down restaurant. I would order for less than RM15.

5. Overall rating for the service and food (rate from 1 - 5)

4.5. 😊

I don't think I will order it that often because it is actually quite pricey for me, but if you are looking for something healthy and big portioned, I will definitely recommend Meraki Kitchen.

5. Overall rating for the service and food (rate from 1 - 5)4.5.
